With a glass well cover, you can make a standout feature of one of the unique characteristics of your home. A fully illuminated well with a glass cover creates an unbeatable view. Showcasing your well for all to see.

We have taken your safety into account with the upmost consideration while developing the glass and frames we use. One of the only glass structural engineers in the country was consulted to ensure that the necessary calculations were done on the glass we supply. The glass we use is all toughened to British Standard, again ensuring that it is suitable for use in a well top.

Many of our competitors will recommend 25.4mm glass for both walk on and raised well tops. After completing our calculations, it was found that only the 33mm glass is suitable for both uses. The 25.4mm glass well cover is only suitable for use in raised well tops.

A border can be applied to your glass to cover the framework of the well cover and any underlying brickwork. We can match the colour of the glass border and also of our frames to the colour scheme of your home or business. These can both be done in a colour of your choice. You can also have a logo or text applied to the glass. The name of your home or business can be applied to give the cover a personalised touch.

Our Well Glass is:

Toughened – Six times stronger than non-toughened glass
Laminated – Each panel is made up of multiple layers of glass, therefore, if one were to fail the unit should remain watertight
Heat soaked – This reduces impurities and minimises the risk of subsequent cracking

Health and Safety Recommendations

When goods are received, please ensure you have an adequate number of people to safely lift the glass.
Customers should use safety gloves for handing glass at all times and wear shoes that cover the entire foot.
